Sirhan Sirhan, A Flasher? Bizarre California State Prison Roommate Complaint
2pp, measuring 8.5" x 11", Corcoran, California, dated "Received" December 31, 1998. Submitted and signed by inmate Kenny Calihan, No. D95027, who was serving time at California State Prison, Corcoran, with Sirhan Sirhan. Both were held in the Protective Housing Unit, which designated prisoners required "extraordinary protection from other prisoners". The formal complaint by Calihan states that Sirhan Sirhan "repeatly walks around the unit naked" and when asked not to, just smiles and grins. The inmate requests that Sirhan take a shower in his cell "and not on the tier where other inmates have to look or see this behavior". The form reveals that the appeal was granted. With flattened folds. Very good.
Sirhan Sirhan is a Palestinian Christian militant who infamously shot and killed Senator Robert F. Kennedy at the Ambassador Hotel on June 5, 1968. Sirhan was convicted and is serving a life sentence. Since his incarceration, he has made numerous appeals, the latest in 2015, all of which have been denied.
