Biography of Dean Rudoy:
Dean Rudoy collected Kennedy memorabilia for over 50 years beginning at a young age. He also worked on Robert F. Kennedy's Presidential campaign, while attending college at Johns Hopkins University and was deeply involved in the peace movement. In the fall of 1968, when he returned to college, he created "The Kennedy Lectureship on International Affairs" that was to take place on campus every Spring. He had invited Edward Kennedy to give the first address of the lectureship which occurred the following year in 1970. Thirty years after he created The Kennedy Lectureship at Johns Hopkins, Rudoy sponsored the Robert F. Kennedy Conference at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library on November 25, 2000, on what would have been RFK's 75th birthday. Rudoy later became involved with the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights, for ten years sponsoring its annual Human Rights Award, serving on its Board of Directors, and now serving as Trustee.
