Production Description:
Light-up life pod and included mannequin torso with Aurora uniform, used in the Stargate Atlantis Season Two episode, "Aurora". Sheppard's team comes upon the sleeping crewmembers of the Aurora, who have sustained themselves for ten thousand years inside these chambers.

Technical Description:
Production-made pod prop containing a partial mannequin, pod is made from vacuum formed clear plastic over a wooden frame with foam rails, and raised MDF panel details, the pod has been painted antique bronze with turquoise patina, the top of the pod has been left clear and is decorated with faux dust that has been partially wiped off during production, the interior floor of the pod is vacuum formed plastic with clear acrylic window openings and an oval opaque lens, a light under the floor shines through the windows and lens when pod is plugged in, functionality is verified. Inside the pod is a foam rubber partial mannequin, torso is covered with a tan polyester shirt with a brown cotton layered chest and collar panel, the wrinkled face is painted beige and white and has thin white hair on the head, chin, and eyebrows, prop shows wear from production use including scratches, dings, and screw holes, measures approx. 36.5in x 31in x 23in.
