Description: [8] pp. (12mo) printed wrappers. Poem written for the occasion of the Ladies' Bazaar for the Benefit of San Jacinto Battle Ground. Mollie Evelyn Moore Davis was an American poet, writer, and editor. From the age of 14, she wrote regularly for the press and other periodicals. A critic said of her that she was "more thoroughly Texan in subject, in imagery and spirit than any of the Texas poets." Very scarce.
