Since 1870 Main Auction Galleries Inc. has grown from a small family business to a nationally recognized Auction House. We are located in the finest area of downtown Cincinnati, within 3 blocks of all major hotels and restaurants. Our building comprises over 40,000 square feet, with our first floor being both our showroom and auction floor. Our reputation for honesty, integrity and professionalism is known not only in this region but nationally as well as worldwide. We work closely with attorneys, executors, trust officers, institutions, organizations, private consignors as well as individuals. We both appraise and liquidate estates and homes throughout the United States. We have provided the highest quality merchandise to local, national and international individuals for the past 139 years. We have a full time staff each being an expert in their respective fields.

Bronze sculptures by Donald Greig add further interest, while folk art, samplers, and regional paintings provide depth and variety throughout the collection. A major component of the auction is an extensive sterling silver collection featuring pieces by Tiffany & Co., Gorham, Towle, Birks, Whiting, Reed & Barton, Watson, The Kalo Shops, Mark J. Scearce, and other respected silversmiths. Offerings include serving pieces, bowls, trays, flatware, julep cups, candelabras, tea services, and specialty forms. Great Auction house to work with

Main Auction Galleries is so easy to deal with.
Main Auction Galleries always makes pick-up as easy as possible. Even though going downtown is sometimes difficult, I know that once I get to the Gallery, that they will go out of their way to bring out my item quickly so parking is not a problem or even that I have needed to get out of my car. They are always so friendly. I would highly recommend them.
