I wrote to Schultz on each of the lots inquiring for condition reports prior to auction date. I thought I could bid with confidence after their correspondence, after spending nearly $2900.00 with their 25 % BUYERS PREMIUM half of the perfume bottles I received were unusable, mismatched fittings, not complete, lacking inner suction tubes/damaged tubes, one with a crack, none of this was disclosed in my inquiries. Some were damaged and again not disclosed of which I sent photos documenting such, all the correspondences are recorded on Live Auctioneers. In addition I was asked to text a photo to the owner of a damages, which I did and also was told I had to speak only to him, which that I did and was told I should have asked for more detail condition reports. In regards to the shipping experience I was charged $75.00 for packaging on small perfume bottles, I purchased the label and emailed it to them so this $75.00 cost was justified by Schultz as packing time and material. I wanted to return the inaccurately described and unusable perfume bottles however I was told that I could not and was given a $50 discount on two of the misrepresented lots. Now I am stuck with a $3000 investment of half of my purchases being junk perfume bottles. The best part of my experience was the book lot that I purchased for $125.00. I would be very careful if you really want something at this auction house, or best to avoid bidding here. Find a reputable auction house which there are a few out there.

I would have no problem buying from this auction house again. There were no unpleasant surprises.

Items are very accurately described. I appreciate that in-house shipping is offered at a fair cost. Careful packing for fragile items. It would be nice if all auction firms offered this service as Schultz does. Live Auctioneers 3rd party 'vetted' shippers are outrageously expensive. Firms like Schultz Auctions build loyalty by truly being full service.

I used their in-house shipping and the piece was very professionally packed, and arrived in excellent condition.

You will want more dolls

Using the in-house packing, an over sized box was used to ship two beautiful lamps and two globes. The globes were only the ones that were double boxed within. The beautiful lamps were barely bubble wrapped and dropped within hundreds of peanuts. Of course the items would shift and fall to the bottom. One of the lamps was broken from movement not being tightly, double boxed allowing movement within. Packer did not know how to pack. When I reported it to the person in charge, and spoke of how the packer should be reprimanded, there was no comment, nor apology. I also received another damaged piece in another box that I did not report. Such a shame.

Liveaucioneers platform is terrible. On another auction I was approved by liveaucioneers too late for bidding, I missed what I planned to bid on for 2 months. the platform is bad. I was up at 7am when the auction started and they didn’t approve my bidding until it was too late. I’m so disappointed with their business model, bidding started at 7am, the email With approval was received 9:15am.. even the brilliant minds working for Liveaucioneers should recognize the problem. These are one of a kind items for a collector and bidding on something else just doesn’t work. If you can bid with another platform, do it. Payment was through liveaucioneers platform hence the 1 star.

Schultz Auctioneers was very professional and easy to work with. The description was accurate, and the photos gave a good representation of the doll. In-house shipping is always a plus in my opinion. Shultz did a great job of packing the doll and the stroller, and the shipping and handling cost was very reasonable. The doll and stroller arrived looking just like the auction photos. This was a fine auction experience, and I'm quite pleased with my purchase. I am looking forward to future auctions with Schultz Auctioneers.
