Schultz Auctions Always a Class Outfit
I have always been happy with buys from Schultz. They were even understanding when I failed to pick up an item on time, I had paid for it on time though. They always have interesting items that I need, ok not need but things I just have to have.

A Great Buying Experience with Schultz Auctioneers
This was my first buying experience with Schultz Auctioneers and I was extremely pleased. The item was exactly the way it looked in the detailed photos they posted. Payment was easy. Very helpful with additional pictures and information on the item.
What responsive attention to my request for additional information and photos. The additional information was honest and accurate. I wish this was a standard for all auction houses. I purchased a lot of oddities and every item was carefully and thoughfully packed.
I purchased an oil painting in a lot of antique oddities and each item was carefully packed and arrived safely. The box was also affordably shipped and arrived fairly quickly, thank you for your excellent service!

I think these are GOOD people at Schultz, but...
Sorry to write honestly about my disappointment with Schultz because I do not think my issue with them was anything deliberate on its part. The big Lionel engine and tender were as pictured, although instruction booklet was missing. The single pile of Lionel cars hid many flaws and I should have asked for more pictures. In any case, most auction houses would have done that initially. The lot of American Flyer engines turned out to be a disaster because of a lack of accurate descriptions. The key to the lot was a rare 336 Northern engine, Flyer collectors will know what I mean. Looked super in the pictures; HOWEVER, when I finally unwrapped the excess tape around it and looked at it, I realized that it was CLEARLY RESTORED, not original, meaning I way way over paid for the lot and so would anyone else who might have bid on it. There were other issues with the other engines that should have been described but were not. My guess is that Schultz did not mean to deceive but that they just are not familiar with old toy trains. I sent them an email just explaining the situation but as of yet no response... I did not ask for any refund. I only wanted them to avoid this kind of situation in the future. When you buy at auction sight unseen, you gamble.. Sometimes you lose some of the bets.

Very prompt and reliable auction house

Honest, Responsive Auctioneer
My transaction went smoothly with Schultz Auctioneers. The item description was accurate, bidding easy, and they provided fast and secure shipping of my item. When I choose to have them ship my item rather than making my own arrangements, I was asked if I wanted a follow up call when they knew how much it would cost before adding it to my credit card. I said no so they wouldn't have to bother, but I got a call anyway letting me know the cost, which I thought was very professional of them. I would not hesitate to bid with this auctioneer again.
