The item I won was nice at a fair price, but with the 25 % Buyer's Premium; Online Payment Fee; Sales Tax; and Shipping Charge that was close to double what the actual USPS Ground Advantage postage cost was, the price I paid nearly doubled! Other auction sites such as eBay don't charge Buyer's Premiums and consider costs such as packing and credit card fees to be part of the cost of doing business, absorbed by the seller. Why do these auction houses feel the need to pass all these costs on to the buyers in their auctions?
