With a double cover filled with royal blue enamel, opening with a diamond-set chinoiserie button clasp, the inner surface enamelled in tones of green and black depicting a chinoiserie landscape, lifting to reveal a mirror and a powder compartment. Lot 1504, a platinum and diamond three-stone ring, is estimated at £10,000-15,000. The graduated round brilliant-cut diamonds in claw settings, estimated total diamond weight 3.40ct, hallmarked Sheffield. The sale includes a gentleman's collection of silver cream jugs, mustard pots, and a fine array of sporting and novelty jewellery. Jewellery by Cartier, Tiffany, Liberty, Vourakis, Marina B, Boucheron and Chaumet all feature heavily.
