Daniels Antiques Auction Terms and Conditions
Introduction
These terms and conditions govern the participation of individuals ("Buyers") in auctions conducted by Daniels Antiques. By participating in our auctions, Buyers agree to be bound by these terms.
Auction Process
All items are sold "as-is" and all sales are final.
Bids are binding and cannot be retracted.
The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer will be the Buyer.
Payment
Payment is due within 48 hours of the close of the auction.
Accepted forms of payment include credit card, wire transfer, or cashier's check.
A buyer's premium of 15% will be applied to the final hammer price.
Shipping
The Buyer is responsible for arranging shipping for all items over 12 inches in any dimension.
Daniels Antiques can provide a list of recommended shippers upon request, but is not liable for any shipping-related issues.
The Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs, including packaging, handling, insurance, and any applicable taxes or duties.
Pickup
Buyers may collect items in person by appointment only, within 7 days of the auction's close.
A government-issued photo ID and a copy of the invoice are required for item pickup.
Any items not collected within 7 days may be subject to storage fees.
Condition Reports
Condition reports are available upon request and are provided as a courtesy.
Buyers are encouraged to examine items in person or request additional information before bidding.
Disputes and Refunds
Any disputes regarding authenticity or condition must be reported within 7 days of receiving the item.
Refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis and are subject to a restocking fee.
Sales Tax
All applicable sales taxes will be added to the final hammer price, unless a valid resale certificate is provided.
Limitation of Liability
Daniels Antiques shall not be liable for any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in any information provided.
In no event shall Daniels Antiques be liable for any indirect, special, or consequential damages.
Autopay
If you have not contacted Daniels to arrange payment within 3 days of the time that invoice is sent, we will charge the credit card you used to register for the auction for the amount of your invoice.
Sales Tax
Online purchases from Daniels may be subject to sales tax. Please see the following for more details. If you are tax-exempt, you can submit your tax-exempt certificate to prevent the collection of tax. Learn more about tax-exemption.
