Condition report: Very fine, harmonious overall appearance. The colours fresh. The sheet edges without tears or losses. The paper, mainly in the margins, slightly wavy due to the artist's technique. In the upper right corner, a slight diagonal crease (11 cm); at the centre of the right edge, a darkish pinpoint scuff mark. In the sphere, a small pasty drop of pigment burst open. On the reverse, with traces from the artist's workshop. Along the edges, at multiple places remnants of white paper tape from former mounting; atop, remounted with paper adhesive strips onto the support cardboard.

Zustandsbericht: Sehr schöner harmonischer Gesamteindruck. Die Farben frisch. Die Blattkanten ohne Einrisse oder Fehlstellen. Das Papier technikbedingt insbesondere in den Randbereichen etwas gewellt. In der oberen rechten Ecke eine leichte diagonale Knickspur (11 cm) sowie an der rechten Kante mittig eine punktuelle dunkle Bereibung. Im Bereich der Kugel ein kleiner aufgeplatzter pastoser Pigmenttropfen. Rückseitig mit Atelierspuren. Entlang der Kanten an mehreren Stellen weiße Papierstreifenreste von ehemaliger Montierung; darüber erneut mit Papierklebestreifen auf den Unterlagekarton montiert.
