Edward Platt autographed 5 x 3-inch card, personally inscribed in purple ink, "To Joe, Best Wishes," followed by his signature, "Edward Platt."

Platt is best remembered for his portrayal of the perpetually exasperated Chief of CONTROL opposite Don Adams as Maxwell Smart in the classic television comedy Get Smart (1965–1970).

The card exhibits a noticeable area of discoloration and adhesive residue along the left side where a previously affixed photograph of Platt has become detached. The autograph and inscription remain unaffected. Otherwise fine condition.

Edward Platt (1916–1974) was an American actor best known for portraying the Chief on the popular television series Get Smart. His film credits include Rebel Without a Cause (1955), North by Northwest (1959), and The Man with the Golden Arm (1955).
