Title: [Ukraine Stamps] SICH-2-30 Satellite Exclusive Limited Edition Uncut Sheet Block 1 of 1520 May 2026
Description: SICH-2-30 Exclusive limited edition uncut sheet block 1 of 1520
SICH-2-30 Block of 6 stamps as intended to be issued with an overprint, this is the version that is part of the uncut sheet with an additional border to the typographic block.

Taken from the Ukraine Philatelic Bureau>
"The SICH-2-30 issue was planned for release in February 2022, to celebrate the launch of Ukraine's first Earth Observation satellite in January 2022. It is described by ESA as a small Earth remote sensing satellite designed to obtain digital images of the Earth's surface in the visible and near-infrared ranges of electromagnetic wavelengths, as well as to monitor Earth's magnetosphere parameters. A total of 130,000 stamps were printed, but were never released due to ruthless invasion of Ukraine by russian fascists."

1520 original blocks have been retained (please see image of the 2022 announcement). A further 1520 blocks have been taken from the remaining stock, and left uncut showing the decorative borders. In total only 3040 blocks of 6 stamps each have survived, in one of two states. These have been  overprinted by the Ukraine post office to obliterate the postal value mark 'L' and were issued on the 20th May 2026 as souvenir sheets to holders of the 'Exclusive Philatelic Subscription'. A few were also successfully cancelled as First Day Covers. The rest of the stock has been destroyed. They are very scarce, whether as single stamps, blocks or on an FDC.
