Description

Max Amann (1891-1957) SS-Oberfuhrer and high-ranking member of the Nazi Party, first business manager of the Nazi Party, and Reichsleiter for the Press. Impressive WWII German certificate of honor presented to Wilhelm Baur, born 1905, killed in 1945 during the Battle of Berlin, joining the Nazi party in 1920 and the SA in 1922. Baur began working as a journalist for Volkischer Beobachter around the same time and became a close confidant of Max Amann. Certificate of Honor, awarded for long-time membership to the Nazi party, and his many contributions to the development of the movement, awarded on September 9, 1937. Printed on large parchment in black ink with gilt Reichsadler, signed in facsimile by Max Amann in his position as Reich Press Leader for the NSDAP. 10.75 x 16.25 inches. Very good.
