(1905 - 1981) Nazi German architect and Minister of Armaments and War Production, convicted of war crimes at Nuremberg. A.L.S. ’Albert’ on his personal letterhead, 2pp. 8vo., Heidelberg, Oct. 9, 1963, to ‘Ord’, sending his regrets that the two could not meet during the latter’s recent visit to Germany, and continuing, in part: ‘… We are friends of a new Colonel of the A. A. F., Barnard… He has the job of a chief of staff in a larger group, stationed in southern parts of the U.S. He fought in Korea and told me, was for a while in Ramstein… [all sic]’ He signs at the conclusion in black ink. Shows a few folds throughout, else very good.
