Description
(1872 - 1933) Thirtieth President of the United States who succeeded to the presidency upon the death of Harding. T.L.S. as President on official letterhead, 1p. 4to., Washington, June 13, 1924 to Gen. Charles E. Sawyer, (1860–1924), a homeopathic physician who was the longtime personal doctor to President Warren G. Harding and Florence Kling Harding. Sawyer is often blamed for Harding's death in 1923. Coolidge had won his party's nomination only days earlier. Small glue stain in left margin else very good. A great association as it was Sawyer's incompetence that made Coolidge president!
