Richard Assheton Cross, 1st Viscount Cross, 1823-1914, was a Conservative politician and Home Secretary in the governments of Benjamin Disraeli and Lord Salisbury. He was latterly appointed Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster by Queen Victoria. width 42cm, depth 30cm, height 9.5cm

Some outer scuffing particularly at the corners but otherwise good order, brass handle is oxidized, initialed to the top RAC, original Bramah lock is open but lacks a key
