The cover has a "LONDON / 24 AP 31 / F.S.72" arrival c.d.s. on the front and an inspectors handstamp on the reverse and has unusually been delivered free of charge. An exceptional combination of cachets which only occurred on this one mailing, carried from Tristan on the S.S. "Franconia" or the whaler S.S "Seringa".
