H.E. Prince Fahd Ibn Abdul Aziz, representing H.E King of Saudi Arabia and the House of Saud on his first official State Visit. At London's Victoria Station he is met by HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh on 30th May 1953 shortly before the Coronation of H.M. Queen Elizabeth II at Westminster Abbey on 2nd June 1953. Prince Fahd became Saudi Arabia's first Education Minister in December 1953 and later became King Fahd of Saudi Arabia and Custodian of the Two Mosques in 1982.The International News Photos photograph was taken by Joe Waldorf.
