Opens to reveal a fitted interior with a purple satin fold-down letter slot. Fitted tray with three compartments and five spool compartments with the spools made of abalone shell and metal. 5" high x 11 1/2" wide x 8 1/2" deep.Shows age separation at top and an old repair to trim. Silk fold-down writing compartment shows loss to satin.
