This rare 8 1/4" white/red/black striped wood bobber was a gift from Creek Chub manager and salesman, Sam Davenport, to employee Melvin Diederich in 1947. Unused and in Ex- condition with only a few tiny dings, thin burn and slight soiling, definitely unfished with the color still bright. These hand painted floats were a short production item for Creek Chub and almost impossible to find in this condition, the provenance making this example exceptional.
