These two bottles are individually numbered 5 of 10 and 6 of 10 and signed by the artist, who has interpreted the idea of vitality in a project centered on the theme of self, intended as an act of awareness and determination in capturing her own image. The vital energy evoked in the drawings of the 750ml and 3L formats reaches its full embodiment in a series of ten unique Imperial bottles. In a progression of images, like a cinematic sequence, Marina Abramović's face is gradually covered by grapes, culminating in the final frame where only her eye remains visible. Her gaze captures the viewer, transforming the self-portrait into an intense visual experience. A dinner with Ornellaia's winemaker is included in this lot, for six guests. Our winemaker will host a dinner at the estate: over the course of the evening, guests will be guided through a curated selection of Ornellaia wines, exploring the estate's craftsmanship, philosophy, and distinctive character that define each wine. The date of the visit will be mutually agreed between the buyer and Ornellaia. The estate will be happy to host the bidder until the end of December 2027, excluding holiday periods.
