Two Bufflehead Decoys
11 in. long
A drake bufflehead from the J. N. Dodge Factory (1883-1893) of Detroit, Michigan. A hen bufflehead attributed to Elisha Burr (1839-1909) of Hingham, MA. The underside of the hen is twice inscribed "E. Burr Duxbury, Mass"
Each in working repaint with heavy gunning wear, including tail chips. Drake with a bill chip and glued neck seam. Hen with loss at tail and to chips on underside.
