Bronzekopf der Bastet. Spaetzeit, 26. - 31. Dynastie, 664 - 332 v. Chr. H 12cm (mit Sockel), H 7,5cm (ohne Sockel). Hohlguss. Katzenkopf, der die Goettin Bastet darstellt. Auf der Stirn eine Aussparung, in der urspruenglich ein Skarabaeus eingelegt war. Gruenbraune Patina, winziges Fragment am Halsrand und Einlage fehlen, feiner Riss und Beschaedigung unter dem rechten Ohr. Provenienz: Ex Sammlung M.H., Sueddeutschland, 1970er / 1980er Jahre. Late Period, 26th - 31st Dynasty, 664 - 332 BC. Greenbrown patina, tiny fragment at the neck and the inlay missing, fissure and chip near the right ear.
