Silbernes Loeffelsieb. Roemischer Kaiserzeit, 1. - 2. Jh. n. Chr. L 16,1cm, ? Sieb 3,1cm. Langer, schoen profilierter Stiel mit beweglicher oese, der unten in einem vegetabilen, durchbrochen gearbeiteten Ornament endet. Dieses wiederum stuetzt das kleine halbkugelige Sieb. Silber teilweise etwas getoent, Teile des Siebes fehlen, Stiel oben angebrochen. Provenienz: Ex westdeutsche Privatsammlung M. S., seit 1951. Silver spoon sieve. Roman Imperial period, 1st - 2nd century AD. L 16.1cm, ? sieve 3.1cm. Long, beautifully profiled handle with movable eyelet, ending at the bottom in vegetal, openwork ornament. This in turn supports the small, hemispherical sieve. Silver slightly tinted in places, parts of the sieve are missing, handle slightly broken at the top.
