A late 20th century brass repeating carriage clock The 2 1/2 inch silvered dial with Arabic numerals, the twin train movement striking a gong, contained with a brass case with bevelled glass plates and swing handle, together with another similar example, the dial with Roman numerals inscribed 'F.H. Goulding Paris', the faceplate pierced and engraved with foliage and birds, engraved to base, 'Presented to by the reception committee of the sick & wounded of the west (returning from the war in south Africa) in appreciation of his untiring services as their hon secretary April 1900, June 1902', the twin train movement striking a gong with maker stamp for E.
