An Austrian flintlock cavalry pistol of carbine bore dated 1853 With plain barrel stamped with indistinct maker's or retailer's name at the breech and retained by a pierced brass muzzle band also forming the fore-sight, plain tang and dated flat bevelled lock, the latter with crowned double-headed eagle stamp on the tail, figured full stock stamped 'S' opposite the lock, regulation brass mounts including rounded butt-cap with iron lanyard ring, single brass ramrod-pipe, and iron ramrod, probably original, Liège proof marks. 25 cm barrel For further information on this lot please visit Bonhams.com For further information about this lot please visit the lot listing
