A william and Mary tortoiseshell and silver pique box unmarked, circa 1690 Oval, the tortoiseshell lid inlaid with silver wire with a scene of a cherub hanging a candle in a tree below the motto UNE SEUVE, 9cm wide, together with cartouche-shaped silver snuffbox, French or English, circa 1750, with moulded sides, the hinged lid inset with mottled brown agate within a floral-chased mount, length 7cm, weight 3.8oz.
