Wahl Eversharp Equi-Poised early ring top set. This early Equi-Poised example has the earlier flattop pen base but Wahl replaced the flat black end caps with matching celluloid ends with a slight taper. This first configuration is uncommon, ring tops being far less common than those with clips. Pen with marked flexible Eversharp 14K nib, cap with tight hairline cracks to lip and one present near lever and near Gold Seal on pencil. Length 4 7/8 inches (pencil), 5 inches (pen), filling mechanism lever fill. Overall fair condition, gold filled trim with slight brassing, imprints worn but legible. Pen was water tested and filled at time of listing.
