An unusual Safavid underglaze-painted pottery bowl Persia, possibly Kubachi, 17th Century of shallow rounded form on a short foot with a large flattened rim, decorated underglaze in green, blue and red with black outline on a white ground with leafy tendrils and frilled foliage issuing from a central bud to well, the exterior with three concentric bands 32.4 cm. diam.
