A Kangxi porcelain dish for the Persian market China, 17th/ 18th Century of shallow rounded form on a short foot, decorated in cobalt-blue on a white ground with chrysanthemums on a ground of floral and foliate interlace, Kangxi reign mark to reverse and later engraved Persian inscription in nasta'liq 39.8 cm. diam. Footnotes: Inscriptions: 'Sarkar Nawab Ghulam Murtaza Khan'. Comparable dishes are in the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, (inv. nos. 1714-1876, 343-1884 and 344-1884), as well as in the Topkapi Saray Museum, Istanbul, (inv. no. TKS 15/6567).
