This is an unused, long-stored incense box, adorned with maki-e lacquer art featuring gourd and arabesque patterns.
This is a work by Hoshiyama and comes with the original box.
It is a flat, round incense box with a black lacquered surface. The lid is decorated with gold maki-e (lacquerware) patterns, including gourds, flowers, and arabesque motifs. The center of the flowers is inlaid with a small piece of mother-of-pearl, which glimmers at different angles.
The surface shows no stains, cracks, chips, or other damage, but please understand the possibility of minor scratches.
The original packaging box is in good condition.
Its condition is excellent.
