Its fluted bezel and curved rectangular case draw direct inspiration from the segmented contours of bamboo stalks, giving the design a distinctly organic presence on the wrist. The dial, featuring elongated Roman numerals and blued steel hands, introduces a refined sense of balance that complements the bold aesthetic experimentation defining Cartier's production during the era. Produced in extremely limited numbers, the model is today considered among the rarest and most elusive of Cartier's unconventional creations.
