Terence Stamp: A Dutch 14kt gold signet ring Green paste carved to depict a crest Maker's mark JF Unhallmarked but testing as 14kt gold Ring size very approx. L 1/2 Gross weight approx. 17.0 grams Footnotes: This ring bears the Van Pallandt crest leading us to believe it was once owned by Frederik van Pallandt before being part of Terence Stamp's belongings. Frederik was a Dutch aristocrat, singer, and social figure best known as one half of the 1960s folk-pop duo Sandra & Andres, which he formed with Dutch singer Sandra Reemer. Born into a noble family, van Pallandt moved in international high-society circles and was known for his glamorous lifestyle, artistic interests, and connections to celebrities and European royalty. He also became associated with the bohemian social scene of the 1960s and 1970s, including friendships with actors, musicians, and jet-set figures such as Terence Stamp. Later in life, van Pallandt lived in the Philippines, where his life took a darker turn amid legal and financial troubles. In 1994, he was shot and killed under mysterious circumstances at his home on the island of Siargao.
