Led Zeppelin: An Autographed Melody Maker Newspaper Advert For The Led Zeppelin IV Album, 1971, issue dated November 20, 1971, the bottom right corner signed in black felt-tip and blue ballpoint pens by John Bonham, Robert Plant, John Paul Jones and Jimmy Page, together with a black and white photograph taken at the Preston Public Hall and a statement of provenance, page: 16 1/2in x 11 3/4in (42cm x 30cm) Footnotes: Provenance: The autographs were obtained by the vendor when Led Zeppelin appeared at Preston Public Hall on 23rd November 1971. When bands came to play in the town, he and a schoolfriend would go to the venue and offer to help the roadies with the equipment, in exchange for backstage passes. The vendor writes that, although they would always buy tickets for the gig, a pass was the best way that they could get to meet their favourite rock stars. They would help get the gear into the venue, watch the sound check and mingle backstage, and when the concert finished, help to put the equipment back into the trucks.
