Description
Potpourri vase Meissen around 1775 Baluster body laced downwards on a domed, round base. At the bottom of the foot are two putti. Covered with partially gilded rocailles and sculptural, naturalistically decorated flower tendrils and fruits. Richly painted with bouquets of flowers. Cover and body with openings. As a lid knob flower branches. Underglaze blue sword mark with dot, 2686 (scratched). 2 flowers are missing, flowers and leaves partially chipped and restored. H. 24cm.
