TWO LARGE GLAZED POTTERY MYTHICAL BEAST ROOF TILES Ming Dynasty Comprising: a seated qilin, the horned beast with a well-defined scaled body and billowing mane, with flames emanating from the haunches; and a galloping celestial beast upon large cloud scrolls; both decorated in green and ochre glazes and resting upon arched rectangular bases.
