A CIZHOU FIGURE OF ZHENWU AND THREE CIZHOU VESSELS Yuan/Ming Dynasty Comprising: a figure of the Daoist deity Zhenwu, seated on a throne with a stylised tortoise and snake at his feet; a flaring bowl decorated with foliate designs on a cream slip ground; a small jar decorated with linear designs; and a pear-shaped bottle vase decorated with a bird amongst blossoming prunus and bamboo.
