TWO BLUE AND WHITE CONICAL BOWLS 17th century Comprising: a footed bowl with deep flaring sides, painted to the exterior with a scholar and attendants in a pavilion garden, the interior with two bands of flowerheads on whorl grounds, apocryphal Yongle four-character mark to the centre; and a further flaring bowl decorated in delicate tones of underglaze blue with lotus plants, the interior with a small wave medallion, apocryphal Xuande four-character mark to the base.
