A BLUE AND WHITE 'ROTTERDAM RIOT' DISH AND TEA BOWL, AND A BLUE AND WHITE 'BURGHLEY HOUSE' DISH Kangxi and Qianlong Comprising: a dish decorated with a mob attacking the house of a chief bailiff of Rotterdam, all enclosed within a diaper band interspersed with floral cartouches, Chenghua six-character mark to the base; a cup similarly decorated with a panel enclosing a continuous scene of the riot and another panel with a banana tree; and a dish decorated with a view of Burghley House and a pheasant in flight, a band of foliate strapwork at the rim.
