A charming and unusual set of four Edwardian porcelain plates, each hand painted with a different freshwater fish among reeds and aquatic plants. The moulded rims are embellished with gilding, and each plate is individually signed on the reverse:

"Wolly Fowkes, Worcester 3/1903"

Condition:
One plate has substantial damage (a broken section at the rim). The others show age-related signs including some rim nibbles, old repairs, and craquelure. Please see photos for details.
