PLEASE NOTE: ALL LOTS ARE LOCATED AT SACKVILLE WEST STORAGE IN ANDOVER (SP10 3SA) AND ARE NOT AVAILABLE TO VIEW

The canvas has been lined and appears to be providing good support. Craquelure is present across the image with some small flecks of paint loss but the surface appears to be largely stable. A small pinhole is present above the tree in the centre of the work. Inspection under UV does not reveal any obvious signs of repair. While some pigments do fluoresce, it is likely that these are original. The work presents a layer of surface dirt and a varnish.
