A large late 19th century carriage clock, Henry Jacot Henry Jacot, No. 10323 The case sumounted by a Greek key brass carrying handle over a rectangular bevelled glass observation window and repeat button, the moulded top with applied decoration beneath and to the sides with glazed observation windows and terminating in a moulded plinth base. The 2.75 inch cream enamel dial with painted Gothic centre, blued steel hands and painted Arabic numerals. The twin train movement with silvered lever platform escapement striking and repeating on a blued steel gong mounted to the back plate, stamped with the factory mark of Henry Jacot, number 10323, currently ticking and striking. 19cms (7.5ins) high.
