A mid 19th century French one piece case carriage clock timepiece in original case Boxell, Brighton The case sumounted by a carrying handle over a large observation window with further glazed windows around, terminating in a moulded base. The plain 2 inch white enamel dial with Roman numerals and Breguet style blued steel hands, signed beneath Boxell, Brighton. The single train movement fitted with a silvered cylinder platform escapement, currently ticking, sold together with the original leather travel case. 14cms (5.5ins) high.
