The 4-inch break-arch brass dial with Turkish numerals and lozenge half-hour markers, the finely matted centre framed by cast brass spandrels, signed on a brass cartouche Thomas Prior, London, No.1526, with blued steel hands (the minute hand a later replacement). The two-train 30-hour movement with external countwheel, powered by a single weight, with verge escapement and short bob pendulum, striking the hours on the bell above. 22cms (8.75ins) high.
