Egypt Medal 1882-1889, Undated reverse, 2 clasps, The Nile 1884-85, Abu Klea (6984. Corp: G. Gordon. 3/Grenr. Gds.), A couple of light edge bruises and contact marks, otherwise toned very fine. (1) Footnotes: George Edward Gordon was born at Teignmouth, Devon and enlisted into the 3rd Battalion Grenadier Guards on 18 August 1879. He is confirmed as having served with the regiment at Abu Klea as a Corporal. He transferred to the Army Reserve on 1 September 1885 and was discharged on 17 August 1891.
