An unmarked keyless wind half hunter pocket watch Inscribed: This watch given by Rt. Hon. Sir Herbert Maxwell 7th Bart. of Monreith to his eldest son on his majority and after the latter's death in 1898. Always carried by his brother Captain Aymer Maxwell. Was lost by him while shooting over Elaig in the winter 1910-11.
