An extensive archive of the Lawn Tennis and Sports Manufacturer George Gibson Bussey, this collection gathered and partly authored about 30 years ago by a prominent tennis historian contains numerous Bussey family birth, marriage and death certificates, trade directory extracts, who’s who in business extracts, census returns, interviews, wills, photos of Bussey family homes and business premises, maps, lawn tennis and other product patents and biographies, etc 

All contained within two hard covered binders. An incredible piece of research extended to over 370 pages of information suitable for a future publication. This lot also includes 3 rare Bussey Sports Trade Catalogues dated for 1891 (60pp fragile), 1927 (60pp) and 1939 (24pp) and the number 80 issue of The Tennis Collector magazine featuring a Bussey cover and an article by the author.
