The box is in good condition, the outer veneer has a hairline stress crack on the right side and the back right corner, where the top has slightly moved. The lock works, and the interior is in good condition apart from a small split to the veneer on one corner of the inner lid. The box's original gam boards are missing, which would have been attached inside the lid. All the cheese, draughts and domino pieces are original, and all are present.
