AN UNUSUAL 17TH CENTURY DELFT POLYCHROME CHARGER DEPICTING A RUNNING WOLF of circular form with a dished centre and broad rim, the tin-glazed surface painted in blue, green and iron-red with a wolf running before stylised foliage and a pagoda beneath a hill, the rim with alternating floral and ribbon cartouches.

The plate has extensive cracks running through the body. There is an area along the rim that has been reglued. Another area which has had a restored chip. There are also chips and damage to the rim.
